Beyond Words Bash

Join us for a vibrant celebration of literacy...starring Dessa!

The Minnesota Literacy Council's second annual Beyond Words Bash is headlined by Dessa, a rapper, singer and essayist whose resume includes performances with the Minnesota Orchestra as well as rap sets at Lollapalooza and Glastonbury. Her most recent album, Chime (Doomtree Records), was listed by NPR Music as one of the best albums of 2018.

This can't-miss evening includes cocktails, dinner, stories from literacy learners, a live auction and remarks from Dessa. Plus, special guest: singer/songwriter Aby Wolf!

Thursday, April 11

5:30-6:30 p.m. | VIP reception

6-6:30 p.m. | General registration, drinks and mingling

6:30-9 p.m. | Dinner and program

Suggested dress: cocktail attire.

Complimentary valet and ramp parking will be available to all guests.
